Cautious Clay

Cautious Clay is a musician, songwriter, and music producer based in Brooklyn, NY. He learned music production at George Washington University by remixing beats for his friends. Karpeh’s music style is influenced by hip-hop, organic, and electronic sounds, and he plays multiple instruments including the saxophone, flute, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. He released his debut EP Blood Type on February 21, 2018, which included the single “Cold War”. His second EP Resonance was released on May 30, 2018, and his third EP Table of Context was released on March 27, 2019. Karpeh also collaborated with John Mayer on two songs, “Swim Home” and “Carry Me Away”, which were both featured on his third EP. In 2021, Karpeh released his first studio album, Deadpan Love, which included previously released singles and was accompanied by a music video for “Karma & Friends”. He also embarked on his Karma & Friends tour in support of the album. In 2022, he released his fourth EP Thin Ice on the Cake, which includes three new songs and three previously released singles.
